Greetings!

We are in the midst of a pandemic that has changed many of our beliefs and expectations in life! If the COVID infection has affected us by the loss of loved ones, colleagues, and friends, now as an aftermath – the fungal infection, mucormycosis is disfiguring and increasing the suffering and despair. Despite all this, doctors continue to serve and work with all their heart and soul to help humanity in whatever small or big way possible! In all this dark and bleak situation, we also have an opportunity to train our curious mind to look into the possibilities of research to find solutions for many unanswered questions regarding this disease and its effects. Hence, the Journal of Academy of Dental Education – which is unique in the fact that it is a journal for the undergraduate students; will provide a platform for the young dental students to venture into research and get their work published with their names as first author. Looking forward to many publications from many quarters of the country.

Take care and be safe.

Regards

Dr. Reena Rachel John
